Community Events
Across the site
Music, art, heritage, craft and wellbeing events happen across the site, especially during the summer months, with Patchwork Studios hosting regular live gigs, theatre, wellbeing, and spoken word events, alongside Kino Film Society and Elevation Film Festival. Garrison Gallery hosts regular DJ nights and exhibitions, while Heritage Open Days is regular fixture every September.
Events are delivered by the artistic community here, the best way to follow what’s going on across the site is to follow the Maker Heights Instagram account.
Event spaces
We’re keen to support community events, and we have a variety of small event spaces available. If you have a community event, talk, gig, exhibition or workshop you’d like to offer at Maker Heights or in the Chapel of Rest, please contact us and we’ll try to help.

Looking for somewhere to host your next event?
Maker - it's magical and it's magnetic. Perched on a hill in the forgotten corner of Cornwall a collective of creatives hide (or maybe they just don't shout much).
This show will bring stories, theatrics, music, performance and all round noise from the people that make Maker special, now, in the past and in the future.
Maker Noise is a celebration of community, creativity and connection.
